B1I can understand the main points of clear speech on familiar matters from work, school, or leisure. B2I can understand extended speech and follow complex arguments on reasonably familiar topics. C1I can understand extended speech even when it is not clearly structured. C2I have no difficulty understanding any spoken language, even at fast native speed.

Reading

A1I can understand familiar names, words, and very simple sentences. A2I can read very short, simple texts and find specific information in everyday material. B1I can understand texts using mainly high-frequency everyday or job-related language. B2I can read articles and reports on contemporary problems and understand the writer's viewpoint. C1I can understand long and complex factual and literary texts. C2I can read with ease virtually all forms of written language, including abstract, complex texts.

Spoken interaction

A1I can interact simply if the other person repeats or rephrases at a slower rate. A2I can communicate in simple, routine tasks needing a direct exchange of information. B1I can deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling somewhere the language is spoken. B2I can interact with enough fluency to make regular conversation with native speakers possible without strain. C1I can express myself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for words. C2I can take part effortlessly in any conversation, with good command of idioms and colloquialisms.
